In your creation heaven did decree That in your arms sweet death should dwell
Deep Silent Complete Black velvet sea The sirens are calling for me
Saved my soul thinking "This song's a lie" Sand on the shore is so dry
Deep Silent Complete Black velvet sea Brave day sinking in endless night
The age will say "This poet lies" Heaven never touched earthly face The age will say "This night was ours" Blessed with the Deep The Silent the Complete
"Deep Silent Complete" by Nightwish
I was thinking of a story I read somewhere [don't remember where], and here's the short version: a young woman waits for her husband to return every night at the docks, months pass by the day he was supposed to return yet she still waited. Until one night, she saw a ship come over the horizon and she rushed out to see if it was her husband's ship. It was his ship, however something was different. All colour had been drained and it no longer touched the water, it floated. She realised that it was his ghost ship, he had promised her he would return one day, even in death.
They look a lot different to me.
The idea of a female looking out to the sea with a ship in the distance is a common cliche on this site. To be honest, unless my memory fails me, I have not seen your work before. In all due respect, it is common for artists to have similar ideas, but they do turn out different. If I had copied your work, I would have used the same model, same apperence, and the same yellow overtone. But instead, I have a different model, different textures, blue overtone, different ship, it's lighter then yours, bigger then yours, and many other things are not the same between the two pictures. So next time you see someone with a similar picture to yours, try to notice all the differences. That'll be the thing to tell you if they copied you or not.
well actually the lightness and colour of mine is only different because of the textures. while the ships are not of the same stock, they do indeed look the same and as for size, mine was scaled down. the thing is that this was entered into the same competition as mine was and three days following the submission of mine. it seems a bit much for coincidence

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that a picture remotely similar to mine had been submitted to the contest because I didn't look at the entries every single day. To be honest again, I had been working on the picture almost a week before I submitted it, I just never had the chance to finish it until that day.
So again, I apologize for it. Next time I'll check and make sure none of the entries are similar to mine.

I will not stop, will you?
it´s a wounderful work

care to explain why they look exactly the same minus the textures and the different models?
